Zoë Vock is a New York based documentary producer. Her career began as a true crime researcher for the long-running hit Investigation Discovery series On The Case with Paula Zahn, where she rose the ranks to become a Senior Associate Producer, ultimately booking and creating 37 episodes of the series over the course of 5 years. She went on to associate produce several other documentary series for Oxygen at both NBC’s Peacock Productions and ITV America.
After associate producing the Emmy nominated docuseries Becoming for Disney+ at ITV America, she was promoted to producer at the company, where she worked in roles that encompassed the full producer skillset of field, story, archive and post. In 2020, she produced and wrote for MTV’s True Life Crime: Season 2, where she covered delicate social justice stories that amplified black and LGBTQ+ voices and discussed topics that the media often neglects. In 2021, Zoë produced her first feature documentary film Fruitcake Fraud for Discovery+ with director Celia Aniskovich, and it was one of the most streamed on the platform in December of 2021. It was also nominated for a 2023 RealScreen award.
In 2022, Zoë field produced I’m Not A Monster for HBO with director Erin Lee Carr. In 2023, she served as Supervising Story Producer for Netflix’s Escaping Twin Flames, which was #1 in the US and #3 in the world on the Netflix top 10 the first week of its release. It also won the 2024 ACE Award for Best Edited Documentary - Non Theatrical and was nominated for an Emmy Award for Nonfiction Editing.
In 2024 Zoë produced a feature length verité documentary The Merchants of Joy (w.t.) with Dial Tone Films and Matador Content. She is currently producing a 2x60 special for ID / HBO Max.
